A businesswoman at heart, Katie founded Cottonwood Business Consulting to provide small businesses with both operational support and strategic development.
Katie has a Bachelor of Science in Public Administration and a Master of Business Administration and often uses knowledge gained from both to bridge the gap between the public and private sectors. This has led her to work with local municipalities to help them better understand how to best support small businesses in their cities. She also volunteers on local business boards and enjoys mentoring and other volunteer opportunities when time allows. Her exposure to and understanding of a wide variety of small businesses also gives her insight into what it takes to successfully develop and grow a healthy business in Utah.
